How to Share a Page Before Publishing

Setup Staging Preview

To share a page before it goes live publicly, you can get the staging URL first. Here's how:

  1. Open the page you want to share in the Flint editor.

  2. Make sure the page is not set to Hidden — hidden pages cannot be previewed or shared. Remove the draft status before proceeding.

  3. Instead of publishing directly to production, your page will be automatically published to staging first.

  4. Once published to staging, click the Share button in the top-right corner of the editor.

  5. Copy the preview link and share it with anyone who needs to review the page.

Usage

Publishing to staging allows collaborators to view and review the latest changes to a page without making it publicly visible on your live site. Keep in mind:

  • Pages in Draft mode are not viewable in preview and cannot be shared. You must take a page out of draft status before it can be previewed or shared.

  • The staging preview link reflects your most recent saved changes, making it ideal for gathering feedback before a full publish.
