Brand import taking longer than expected

When you sign up for Flint, we start importing your brand and website design to create your personalized design system. This process typically takes between 1-3 hours, but may occasionally take longer due to high demand or technical issues.

What to do if your import is delayed

If your brand import has been running for longer than the estimated time:

  1. Check your email inbox and spam folder - We send a completion notification when your import is ready. Sometimes this email may end up in your spam folder.

  2. Look for an organization invitation - After import completion, we send a separate invitation email to join your organization in Flint. Check both your inbox and spam folder for this invitation.

  3. Contact support - If you haven't received any emails after several hours beyond the estimated time, reach out to our support team at support@tryflint.com. We can check the status of your import and resolve any issues.

Common causes of delays

Import delays can happen due to:

  • High demand periods causing processing backlogs

  • Technical issues or system instability

  • Complex website structures that require additional processing time

What happens after import completion

Once your brand import is complete:

  1. You'll receive an email notification

  2. You'll get an invitation to join your organization in Flint

  3. You can log in at app.tryflint.com to start creating pages

  4. We may create a sample page in draft mode for you to review
