How to import and use existing pages from your website in Flint

Last updated: April 20, 2026

Flint performs a one-time import of a single page from your website during initial setup. If you need to bring in additional pages or use a different page layout as your foundation, there are several approaches you can take.

Initial Page Import

When you first set up Flint, the platform will import one page from your website (typically your homepage) to establish your design system. This imported page serves as the foundation for creating new landing pages that match your brand's visual identity.

Importing Additional Pages

To bring in another page from your website beyond the initial import, you'll need to provide Flint with visual references. Here's how:

  1. Take screenshots of the page you want to import

  2. Provide the URL of the target page

  3. Upload the screenshots to Flint and prompt it to recreate the page based on these visual references

For detailed guidance on this process, refer to the building more pages guide.

Enterprise Import Services

If you're on an Enterprise plan or evaluating one, Flint offers professional import services where the team can import pages for you to ensure they match your original design exactly. This service typically takes 2-3 days to complete.

Alternative Approach: Modifying Existing Pages

Instead of importing a completely different page layout, you can modify your existing imported page by prompting Flint to add specific elements. For example, you can ask Flint to add a form to the hero section or modify other components to match your needs.

Domain Configuration Options

When planning your page imports, consider your hosting preferences:

  • Subdomain hosting (e.g., lp.yourcompany.com) works seamlessly with Flint

  • Subfolder hosting (e.g., yourcompany.com/lp/) requires Cloudflare in front of your existing website and is available for paid customers only

Note that subfolder configuration is an advanced setup feature currently available only to paid customers.
